01
Who is responsible for this website?
IFUNDA operates ifunda.co.za and is responsible for personal information submitted through the website. Website privacy and information requests may be directed to Leilanie at sales@ifunda.co.za or 063 977 8942.
This is a website privacy notice. School-specific use of Textbook360 will require appropriate service terms and data-processing arrangements with each school.
02
What information do we collect?
The public website collects only information that you choose to submit or that is technically necessary to operate the site.
- Contact name, school or organisation, role, email address, telephone number and province.
- Your enquiry type, preferred contact method, selected plan and message.
- Technical security information such as submission time, session state and limited server logs needed to prevent abuse and troubleshoot delivery.
Please do not submit learner records, identity numbers, medical information, passwords or other sensitive school data through the public enquiry form.
03
Why do we use it?
IFUNDA uses enquiry information to:
- respond to demonstration, pricing, implementation, support or partnership requests;
- understand the needs of the school or organisation contacting us;
- follow up on an enquiry and maintain an appropriate business record;
- protect the form against spam, fraud and technical misuse; and
- improve the clarity and usefulness of the website and service.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
04
Email delivery and recovery records
The contact form attempts to send the enquiry to the IFUNDA sales inbox using authenticated SMTP when configured, with the server mail function as a fallback. A reference number is created for each valid enquiry.
If email delivery fails, the website may save a private recovery copy outside the public website directory so the enquiry is not silently lost. Delivery logs contain the reference, time and technical delivery result. Access should be restricted to authorised IFUNDA personnel.
05
Cookies and analytics
The contact page uses an essential session cookie to protect the form against cross-site request forgery and repeated submissions. The cookie expires when the browser session ends.
At the date of this notice, IFUNDA does not place advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics on the public website. This notice will be updated before any non-essential tracking technology is introduced.
06
Retention and deletion
Enquiry information should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide a quotation, maintain a business record, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. The website automatically attempts to remove failed-delivery recovery files older than 90 days; authorised staff should still review and remove records sooner when they are no longer required.
You may ask IFUNDA to correct or delete information that is no longer necessary, subject to legitimate legal or record-keeping requirements.
07
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by authorised IFUNDA personnel and by service providers needed to host the website, deliver email, protect the service or provide technical support. Providers should receive only the information required for their function and should be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security expectations.
IFUNDA will not disclose enquiry information publicly unless required by law or authorised by the person concerned.
08
Security
Reasonable safeguards include encrypted HTTPS connections, protected server configuration, CSRF protection, spam controls, limited access, secure mail configuration and storage outside the public website where available. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and suspected incidents should be reported promptly to sales@ifunda.co.za.
09
Your rights and complaints
You may ask whether IFUNDA holds personal information about you, request access, ask for correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or raise a concern about how information has been handled. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
South Africa’s Information Regulator provides POPIA guidance, forms and complaint channels at inforegulator.org.za. You may also use the IFUNDA PAIA information page for access-to-records guidance.

Changes to this notice
IFUNDA may update this notice when the website, enquiry process, service providers or legal requirements change. The review date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes should be communicated clearly on the website.
